At Rivervale, we believe mathematics is more than a subject — it is a life skill. Our Mathematics curriculum is designed to equip every student with the confidence and ability to apply mathematical thinking to solve real-world problems, fostering a love for learning that extends beyond the classroom.
Mathematics Carnival
Our Primary 6 students take on the exciting role of designers and facilitators, creating carnival activities for their lower primary juniors. This hands-on experience challenges students to apply mathematical concepts and skills in creative, real-world contexts — all while discovering the joy of mathematics through play.
Mathematics Trail
Through our Mathematics Trail, students venture beyond the classroom to explore and deepen their understanding of key mathematical concepts and skills. By connecting what they learn to the world around them, students develop sharper mathematical intuition and a greater appreciation for how mathematics shapes everyday life.
